HEAR,HEAR!
It's reprehensible that the NFL did everything possible to block Rush Limbaugh from team ownership. They exclude a Patriot but allow an American-hating Islamofacist to head a team in a city where there's a lot of military, both active and retired. The fans in Jacksonville really ought to rise up in revolt against this travesty.
If he was such a winner, the winningest team of all would not have cut him.
Do you really believe the Patriots had him try out just so they could persecute a Christian.?
Search for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. You’ll find scores of the biggest stars are members. Why aren’t they being persecuted?
The whining here is unbelievable. It’s childish and based on a false notion.
Are you aware he won’t try out for any position but quarterback, a position he is eminently unsuited for.?
I hear Tim’s publicist and close associates have been trying to convince Tim to move on from football. Do motivational speaking and endorsements until he decides to run for some local office. If this drags on for another year, which is very long in an athletes’ timeline, I suspect and hope Tim will do something else. Stop spinning his wheels and go to where he is clearly wanted. If, by some stroke of good luck, Tim does get a QB position, I would not be surprised for somebody to ask (pay) a linebacker or two to put the hurt on Tim and really bring an end to his football career in totality.
Ad hominem attacks will not change the fact that he did not play well for the Patriots. He played quite extensively in the preseason and his passing skills put him in third place on a team that carries two quarterbacks. It was quite obvious to anyone with an objective eye, that this was the case.
The Patriots didn’t cut him because he is a Christian. They cut him because he was the third best quarterback on a two quarterback team. I believe the Patriots gave him a chance because he was a Christian and of good character. They could use a few players of good character on their team.
You’re quoting facts, that won’t cut it for the conspiracy theorists.
Denver, NY, NE and counting.
There is a huge list of college qbs who were winners and washed out in the NFL. As a Browns fan I can name many LOL.
I’ve read Tebow’s book, he’s a fine young man, and likely will prosper in education, coaching, or ministry.
His performance sucked.
The NFL is one of the few places where performance counts. No performance? No job.
It’s is capitalism at its best.
Frankly speaking, it's the never ending circus of media fueled "true believers" that have ruined Tebow's career.
What football organization wants every bible-thumping Christian and media organization generating a circus-like atmosphere everywhere Tebow and the team go? That's a distraction no football team wants.
It's just that simple.
Although, I did tell my wife the Pats could have used Tebow on the inside of the one yard line yesterday. THAT is where he would shine.
