They don't give the questions that were being posed to him - in a simpy, smug manner. Dana Bash in San Antonio, kept trying to go back to the back-biting and attacks made on Cruz and he kept turning it back to Obamacare. Here is one example of her exchange with Cruz from a very long interview (She did note at the beginning of the interview - done in San Antonio - what a big and nice the reception he got in Texas).

I want the RINOs flushed. We need a political party modeled on Ted Cruz. That is the only way our country is pulled from the brink of collapse.

"I don’t work for the party bosses in Washington. I work for the people of Texas, and I fight for them,” Cruz told CNN's "State of the Union."

Amen brother. Cruz makes me want to move to Texas.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in an interview that aired Sunday dismissed criticism from his congressional colleagues, saying that he was "not remotely" upset that party leaders had chastised him over a legislative strategy many believe forced the 16-day government shutdown. "I don’t work for the party bosses in Washington. I work for the people of Texas, and I fight for them,” Cruz told CNN's "State of the Union."

Awesome. Exactly the kind of representative our founders intended us to have.

Kudos to Senator Cruz!

On June 9, 1776, John Adams wrote from Philadelphia, "Objects of the most stupendous magnitude, and measures in which the lives and liberties of millions yet unborn are intimately interested, are now before us . . . ."

On June 11, a Committee was formed to develop a declaration of their intentions.

On July 4, 1776, a lengthy Declaration of Independence was adopted which changed the world! William Ellery, Rhode Island, later wrote that he stood where he could watch every person sign the document:

"I was determined to see how they all looked as they signed what might be their death warrant. I . . . eyed each closely . . . . Undaunted resolution was displayed on every countenance."

What a contrast! Our ancestors, in less than a month, took the kind of courageous action that leaders who love their country take on behalf of liberty for "millions yet unborn," accomplishing in just weeks what no civilization had accomplished before.

Today, feckless pretenders to leadership, living like kings in previous monarchies, personally risking nothing, make excuses for inaction and allow the precious inheritance of freedom to be risked for the sake of political power.

Those who advocate for liberty must not allow so-called "progressives" of either Party to define them, but they must articulate and defend the ideas of liberty so that future generations may live as free men and women.

"Objects of the most stupendous magnitude, and measures in which the lives and liberties of millions yet unborn are intimately interested, are now before us . . . ." - John Adams

The man is now calling out all of his colleagues for lying to their constituents. This is what I’ve been waiting to see happen for years.

Finally someone willing (as far as we can tell) to be honest about this whole mess.

He said he doesn’t work for the party bosses and therein lies the issue and why they vilify him. He doesn’t bow down and toe the line like they want/expect him to. After all, he doesn’t have any seniority and to them he’s like a new hire and his only job is to clean to stalls. Except, they seem to be the ones lying around stinking the stalls up. Once you get used to the stench, it doesn’t bother you much any more.

I’m thinking about all things competitive, for example the so called Twitter competition that is being waged between the number of Cruz re-tweets and those of Obama. The media is watching that are’nt they?

Are we needing to go Twitter in greater numbers before we can own the messaging war? I have read nothing indicating that we have come close t matching the Marxist ground game for contacting the masses.
