Yeah, "Mend it, don't end it!" Obamacare is a goldmine for ALL politicians. Every political fight in the future will be about obamacare and eventually whatever they call the single payer follow on. Every political fight will be about tweaking the system for the benefit of this complaining group and that one, about "streamlining" and "making it more fair" helping in (with lots of publicity) helping out individual constituents who are frustrated with the system.
We have let it go too far to get rid of it. No politician, not even Ted Cruze, will vote to put a million new bureaucrats out of work. The only way we might get shut of obamacare is if we respond well as a population of free people to the Collapse.

It would be better to give those bureaucrats a generous furlough (but not indefinite), than to keep them on Bummercare. Better to pay them for nothing than for a nuisance, and after all the US gov. DOES own up to this thing as a whole.

yeah... the 2013 (or 2014) Repealed Obamacare Bureaucrat Furlough Act. We should heartily wish that this would be the worst.

And it would actually make a nice precedent for downsizing government as a whole. OK, you have to bribe the bureaucrats to do it, but then you get a government that, at the least, is less busy doing COUNTER productive things.
