If Amnesty passes the House, the GOP is toast in 2014

http://www.jihadwatch.org/2013/10/soldiers-at-fort-hood-told-that-christian-and-tea-party-groups-threat-to-nation-any-soldier-donating.html

Those doing the fighting will not be invoking God, per the latest deployment briefing, e.g., no TEA Party or God or you face UCMJ action/prosecution for any participation or support. Does that extend to attending a church service, giving to your church in the plate, or attending a TEA party meeting or sending in a political donation. The administration has effectively moved to halt dissent.

It ain’t gonna happen. Conservatives don’t have the balls to conduct a revolt. If they did, Obamacare woulda been toast in this last shutdown-showdown.

Let’s get a Second Party, first.

I nominate the 2016 candidates for the new party:

Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz.

Well, perhaps we can get the Democrats to run a third party.

Call it the “Democrats not trying to destroy American party”.

Pity there would be so few Democrats that would join it.

I’d like to see a Taxpayer Party for those who pay all of the taxes that keeps this joint running.

While I would love a party with Tea Party principles, I think, as a third party, it would be suicide.
My dream would be a Republican party that is under control of Tea Party people.
I question, however, if there will even be an America, after three more years of the scumbags.

Thanks for referencing that article WXRGina.

Regarding the article, we don’t need no stinking 3rd party.

What patriots need to do is to get low-information voters up to speed on the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers.

I no longer care wtf the Republicans do. I am forever done “holding my nose” when I vote. I will reward only conservatives in the Ted Cruz / Sarah Palin mold with my votes. Period.

Thanks to Jim DeMint’s efforts we won’t have to go third-party in 2014.

That man may save the country. Hope he runs for president in 2016.

The Republican Party started as the alternative to the Whigs. The two currently main Parties are not sacrosanct.

Sitting here awaiting the inevitable arrival of the "A third party would be suicide" crowd, followed closely by the "Hey, just wait another two years and we'll regain control of the GOP" crowd.

After 25 years of spouting that crap, you'd think they'd get a clue that IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN.

Only if it became absolutely and totally impossible for conservatives to make a difference in the GOP would a third party alternative become necessary, in my opinion.

We are at that point now. The RINO's are trying to push amnesty at a time when they should be pounding Democrats on Obamacare. The GOP is an absolute tire fire right now, and I don't see any hope of getting things changed. 30+ years after the Reagan example given in this article, and it looks like no progress has been made at all.

Too late.

The Republican Party is compromised to the point of no return, too dirty to clean up.

Too many saboteurs and traitors....as evidenced by Gov Palin’s two Republican “aides” that were sent by McCain to keep her muzzled.

These two "aides" have now been hired by MSNBC.

The GOPe will stop Cruz from getting the presidential nomination in 2016.

So what will Conservatives do...seems a third party is the only way to go IMHO

I do believe the Whigs made precisely the same argument.

The Republican Party is useless. Its only principle is to have no principles. Its only strategy is preemptive surrender. Its only plan for victory is to tick off its base as much as possible.

The Republicans did such a good job of replacing the Whigs that they have become the Whigs.

The basic premise of the two-party system is that the parties offer meaningful alternative policies. When they refuse to do so, it’s time to replace one or both.

From the article:
I believe the strategy Viguerie outlines is the best one, and it means conservatives must get off their rear ends and get involved in the primaries – something we hardly ever do!

This is what produced the record-breaking Republican victories at every level, coast to coast, in the 2010 mid-term elections.

We proved it works. It will work again. And again.

RINOs must be obliterated in the PRIMARIES.

Those who say "only moderates can win" need to be humiliated into silence and obscurity with the facts of recent RINO losses in general elections (i.e. McCain, Romney).

The TEA Party message -- Cut the Taxes; Cut the Spending; Reduce the Size of Government -- is a winning message coast to coast.
