Japan had a nuke program during WW2. It’s just that we beat them to the bomb first. I always wondered what became of their stuff. I always guessed that we took it. Nothing is to say that they haven’t made or acquired more over the past 60 years though.

Getting the enriched uranium is the hardest part. The rest of it is machining and assembly and who is better at that than Japan? Israel did it on the qt no reason to think Japan has not already done so.

Wonder why Japan restarted all of their nuke plants?

They have had plutonium shipments from France for years. If they don’t have a dozen or more atom bombs and likely fusion bombs, then I am a monkeys uncle.
