Conservatives see discussions as, well, discussions. Liberals see discussions as "teachable moments".

Conservatives want to convince other folks. Liberals want to "educate" other folks.

The indoctrination is subtle, but it's there.

Do you see the inherent assumption there? That the liberal is assumed (based on nothing concrete) to be right, and all others who disagree are wrong.
