Is Secession Any Closer?

I sense that anger is building among the states as the federal government continues to encroach on states’ rights. Healthcare, traditional marriage, and other issues are irritating leaders in many states. Sooner or later a state is going to stand up and tell the federal government to go to hell.

What might secession look like? I have a website that is dedicated to this proposition:

http://freetexasconstitution.wordpress.com/

Here I offer some ideas to get people thinking about how we could go it alone here in Texas. I also address standard objections to secession.

By the way, at least one poll has shown that we are close to a majority of Texans being willing to consider secession.

All it will take is a few brave leaders like America has been blessed with in our history. Men like Davy Crockett. In case you have forgotten, Davy Crockett was one of those true statesmen of history. He was elected as a representative from Tennessee to the US Congress. Crockett spent his entire career fighting and defending real individual liberty and the abuses of the US Congress violating the Constitution. In 1835 in a fury of anger, David Crockett rose on the floor of Congress, when Congress again was violating the Constitution, and cried out:

”Ya’ll can go to hell, I’m goin‘ to Texas!”

Crockett died fighting for liberty at the Alamo in 1836. God bless Davy Crockett and men of principle in our history like him.

Open defiance of the Fed Gov is the next step.

It is close by. It will be focused, but it is coming.

Secession? nope

Here is the Official order:

1. Elect More Republicans - FAILED - (We've been stuck here for years and tried it between 2000-2006 with nothing to show but more centralized power, ie DHS/TSA/"Homland Insecurity" )

2. Article V - In Progress - Just started it, a few states have gone through intial steps.

3. General Tax Strike - If Amnesty Passes - Probably gonna happen...

4. Sucessessionssionssss - If steps 2-3 fail - Then it is time for this step...

(intentionally misspelled 4 to confuse the NSA search agent)

Soon....

Illegal Alien Amnesty from both parties could well be the thing to kick off this...

Why bother with open defiance? If we can’t, in good conscience, obey the laws of the land, then we need to form a set of laws that we can obey. There is no reason anymore to pretend that we can live with progressives, socialists, Marxists, communists or their laws and policies.

Secession? What would that solve?

Look at Colorado. Look at New Mexico. Look at many other states.

The Libs would eventually enroach into the new republic, just like they are currently doing and have been doing for a century.

There are already claims that Texas will be blue in just a few years. Don’t believe it? Look at Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio.

I find it hard to believe that libs like sharing this nation with us, just as we don't like sharing it with them. We've become so divided the open hostility on forums could soon spill out to the streets.

Why don't libs want to separate from us as much as we do them? An amicable split is so much more desired.

With the socialist, Obama-voting blue states diving into the cultural sewer of fag-marriage and dope, I’ve become 100% fine with the proposition of secession. And that’s no understatement.

Those states can go burn in hell. I’d never lift a finger to support or defend them even if attacked by outside forces.

And you don’t even name the state you are from on your about page. Buzz off. Don’t Mess With Texas.

Part of Colorado wanted to secede, instead they legalized dope.

Any other questions?

Many people would have to move, or be a minority in a new country. Conservatives in California would be in such a situation. Ditto the liberals in Alabama and Mississippi and Utah.

Not to mention the divisions within states, such as upstate New York vs. The New York City area, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh vs. The rest of Pennsylvania, etc.

I see a future where “cities” become isolated castles vs the rest of the country. (of course in cities soylent green will be popular but it will depend on the person)

look at the by county breakdowns. That will be where the cities become liberal containment zones.

Secession wont be feasible until traditional americans are forced into a small enough space to be a critical mass. Even in Texas and Oklahoma the cities are still infested with leftists. It will take a great many conservatives persecuted out of ther home states and pushed into the middle of the country before we will have states unified enough to marginalize the leftist influence within and split from the leftists without.
