Ford as the Fonz? WTF? Whoever came up with that must have been on something.
Are you suggesting that where political posters are concerned, the one with Ford as Fonzie jumped the shark ?
That Fordzie poster is truly horrible. I guess that Ford jumped the shark even before that televised debate in which he insisted that there was no Soviet domination of Eastern Europe.
But at least Ford didn’t feature Wilt Chamberlain in his poster ....

I took particular note of the side panels on the McKinley - Teddy R poster...
On the LEFT: “Gone Democrat” (shows a failed economy), “Run on the Bank” (showing financial panic), and “Spanish Rule in Cuba” (showing foreign policy failure).
On the Right: “Gone Republican” (shows prosperity); “A Run TO the Bank” (people’s money is safe); and “American Rule In Cube” (showing a strong foreign policy)
