Bentivolio is anti-amnesty-—for now. When L. Ron Paul (who has always supported open borders, as do most Libertarians) gives the signal, Bentivolio (and Amash, and Massey, and maybe Brat?) will start saying that it is Economics 101 that we shouldn’t have barriers to the importation of workers any more than we should have barriers to the importation of raw materials, and the Paulistinians will vote with the liberal Democrats on amnesty just as they do on some other issues.

And while Bentivolio did serve our country honorably and might be the most patriotic reindeer rancher in all of Michigan, that doesn’t mean that he’s an effective politician, much less a strong general-election candidate (as the November 2012 results show).

You’re a “moderate”

Moderates are lying manipulative bottom feeding scum who spend their lives on their knees servicing democrats whenever possible.

That’s me showing utter contempt for your kind.

Kerry, Ted Yoho, Paul Broun, Walter Jones are closer to Steve King than the Pauls on immigration.

The first 4 stay in office because their views on invading Syria are popular not because of ongoing Ron Paul backing.

Trott has literally said nothing on immigration until Cantor lost.

My friend Congressman Steve King is a true conservative leader. We worked together on the Farm Bill—see what he has to say:

Mainstream conservative Hero Trey Gowdy on getting undermined by King:

In response to King’s comments, Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said “reprehensible” and “Did you hear his five minutes?” Gowdy asked a scrum of reporters about King’s statement. ”He took one line from my opening statement about a remedy that lasts a lifetime and lectures me about the rule of law. I was a prosecutor for 15 years.”

“When children eat a grape at the grocery store or eat a piece of candy waiting in line before mom or dad pays for it we don’t have them arrested for petty larceny,” he added.

You're talking about what you think someone might do because they support some of Ron Paul's economic policies. You're assuming that if someone supports some of them, they'll automatically support all of them. In logic terms, you're assuming the converse of an implication.....it doesn't follow.

Anyone who knows Economics at all knows that an unlimited source of cheap labor destroys the supply and demand curve for labor and the system collapses. FWIW, Brat has a 100% score from Numbers USA and he's been the most articulate about the impact caused by the invasion of the US and the negative impact it has for workers.
