This comes perilously close to the Anchor advocating for people to murder open carriers.

Lucas McCain might have something to say about that.

Many of those who want a disarmed population advocate for death to armed citizens.Hmm they have made the choice for those of us who don't want to be disarmed pretty simple - a straight dichotomy. It appears that they want kill us so when confronted by a deadly threat what can you do? A couple of hundred of the more outspoken advocates of murdering those of us who believe in freedom given a dose of their own medicine might prove educational for the rest.

Not even close, he’s over the line.
IMO anyone who says “I believe in the second amendment, but..” doesn’t support the second amendment.

What would stop him? Common sense and a lack of hoplophobia.

Everyone spot the basic assumption that the presence of a gun not in the hands of law enforcement inherently is an “imminent danger”?

"Everyone spot the basic assumption that the presence of a gun not in the hands of law enforcement inherently is an imminent danger?" Sadly, I believe the exact opposite to be true nowadays in the Obamanation...

Let’s see. I bet he’s against any sort of stand your ground laws in which someone can defend themselves against an aggressor. Here, he is fine with aggressors attacking someone who happens peacefully open carry.

Chuck Connors, conservative and former Seton Hall man. The Rifleman, still in sydication, transends time with a moralistic and independent life style message.

Liberals believe that simply wanting a firearm is proof of paranoia and you should be refused on the grounds of mental instability.

This is why guns should be outlawed - for leftists. They simply lack the common sense necessary to responsibly possess them.

Indeed - “presence of armed gov’t agent = imminent danger”.
It is very likely that any call to “authorities” will result in a negative situation for you and your family.
