Last update to the WHO casualty statistics was 20AUG14. That’s six days ago. The pencilneck who runs the CDC got up before Congress and admitted yesterday that ‘Ebola had the upper hand at the moment’ in Africa.

You don’t say that stuff in public if you’ve got something in the pipeline you think is going to knock back the R0.
Updates were coming in every two days. Now they’ve stopped altogether.
Maybe Obama has another campaign chauffeur he can promote into the CDC job, or NASA, or NORAD.
