When I was commander serving in combat, I always looked for indicators, warnings and trends, and one of the things I always wanted our unit leaders and Soldiers to pay attention to was enemy dry runs.
Did we just see a “dry run” this past week in San Diego?

They will have the protection of the US DOJ. Armed civilians will be prosecuted for standing up against such an enemy. Barry will just let them come on in.
Thanks for posting West’s column. Learning about the tactic of “dry runs” is important for us to understand what could be taking place all across America.
Remember the 4-6 “imans” from Minneapolis who started seat-switching on a passenger plane and asked for seat-extender belts (which could be used to choke/strangle a crew member/stewardess or plan hostage?
Most terrorists in the US perform some kind of dry run, if only to scout out access to their target(s).
I once took over a Communist Party front office, the New Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam, in DC. I had worked there undercover and sketched out the floor plan for our “liberators” to follow.
We checked out the building and floor before liberating Mobe (which made the Wash. Daily News paper). Nothing harmed but symbolically, we were one of the first groups to take over a pro-Hanoi operation’s office.
Dry runs work. Spotting them, as Col. West notes, in extremely important in both learning what to look for in a real assault, and in planning how to repel/destroy it.
