What does it say? It’s pushed pretty hard for a low loonie, low yuan, low freight fuel, high dollar, dollar reserve, etc. But yes, it serves some investors for the time being. Such “news” is riding on a perilous mountain of debt, though (balance of payments deficits in trade, heavy foreign investments in American bonds and the like).

I wouldn’t really call that news, though. I’d call that editorializing and commentary.

Somehow I can’t believe that silly editorials garner that kind of wealth... but it’s not impossible. It would be part of the pat ourselves on the back society.

At any rate, I find it really interesting that they are even asking C# and Java gurus to take the plunge into C++.

For me as an engineer this says one thing. They want to do smart processing of breaking, real-time news and do it quickly. You can’t put the pedal to the metal with C# and Java. Somehow, this does not sound like a silly editorial business.
