I like Sarah Palin. I like that she seems like a real person. When she resigned as governor, she effectively ended her career in political office. It is sad. I understand why she did it, but that’s the way it is.
To me it is very understandable as to why she resigned from her governorship after being legally hounded by the leftist nation as a whole.
What makes me disappointed is her handling of whether she was going to run in 2012. She demurred and toyed too much for my taste, and I think she lost some measure of support from potential voters.
That said, I think she remains the soul and the conscience of conservatism and what a patriotic, unapologetic American should be.
In the end, I am far more interested in getting Ted Cruz elected President than I am her. Were she to end up as a VP candidate, then I’d certainly support that ticket - if the head of the ticket was not an Amnesty or Pathway-to-Citizenship appeaser.
It was one of the smartest thing she’s done.
Obama resigned from his position as senator before his term was up and it didn't hurt his political career.
