The article gives no clue as to why the judge voided the monetary award to Dobyns [sp?]. Is it because he may want to give the guy a larger settlement?
Okay, I think I found an answer in another article. Two points:
“The notice does not outline why Allegra voided his decision. Furthermore, the judge sealed other court documents, shrouding the matter from public view.”

‘Dobyns sought $17.2 million, but said at the time he was pleased with the ruling because it vindicated him.
“Judge Allegra’s opinion speaks louder on my behalf than any of my own words ever could or did,” Dobyns wrote in a statement posted on his website the day the opinion was unsealed.
“He is a fair and honorable man grounded in justice. His opinion reflects those standards,” Dobyns wrote.’
Plus, Dobyns’ attorney commented that he’d be able to say more about the settlement being voided ‘in the next few weeks.’
With all that, I’ll take a guess that Allegra does indeed want to up the amount. I could be wrong, but that’s what it looks like to me.

That’s what I was thinking.

He did it because the BATF lawers committed “fraud on the court”.
Yes, Dobyns may get a larger settlement.
Maybe there will be sanctions.
No one knows yet.
