Teenagers at a California high school were publicly shamed for disagreeing with speakers allowed to push an LGBT agenda during an English class, according to several upset parents.
The Queer Straight Alliance at Acalanes High School, in Lafayette, lectured students in several ninth-grade English classes on Jan. 29 about LGBT issues, according to Brad Dacus, president of the Pacific Justice Institute, which is representing the parents.
During the class, the students, ages 14 and 15, were instructed to stand in a circle. Then, they were grilled about their personal beliefs and their parents’ beliefs on homosexuality, PJI alleges.
“The QSA had students step forward to demonstrate whether they believed that being gay was a choice and whether their parents would be accepting if they came out as gay,” PJI attorney Matthew McReynolds said. “Students who did not step forward were ridiculed and humiliated.”

I educated my two children in California K-12 before it got this bad. The system is now polluted with RADICAL LIBERALISM and does NOT provide or insist on educated kids.
Having to educate in California again, it would ONLY be in private, quality, responsible schools — NOT LEFTIST-RUN, GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS EVER!
Try shaming they in the real world and you could get SHOT ,LOL

Good luck with that. The latest campaign is to require schools to hire and/or retain teachers who openly advocate the LGBT agenda, particularly same-sex marriage and parenting.
A few years ago my college student daughter encountered this.
While the Prof. innocently said LGBT when discussing a certain topic, a militant shouted out that it’s LGBTA !!
Then another militant shouted that it’s LGBTQAA !!!
At this point my daughter said “They really need an Alphabet song”.
Half the room went silent as the other half tried to contain their laughs.
What does this have to do with 9th grade English?
This whole “shaming” thing is complete crapola, no matter the reason for it. A person can be “shamed” only if they allow themselves to be by tolerating it. Stand in a circle? No. Allow ridicule? No. Refusal to cooperate? Yes. What are they going to do about it?
So someone took a Facebook post and presented it as a “class”.
So bullying is OK if it comes from a protected perversion?
Since this is in ENGLISH class, do they teach the kids how to lisp and get emotionally high strung when they speak too?
Ten years ago I sent my daughter to a well known Catholic High School where she was shamed for her beliefs about homosexuality.
Yeah, acknowledging the homosexuals was their first mistake.
Idiots are best ignored. Sounds alinsky almost.
Calilfornia had a decades old ban on Communists and seditious teachers in the classroom. The Democrats repealed that law and that action speaks volumes.
