Ariel Kahane reports in today’s edition of Makor Rishon that the EuropeanWhat could go wrong?Union is preparing to impose a series of heavy sanctions against Israel to
be rolled out after the March elections.
The sanctions would impact not only Israeli business economic activity withthe European Union that involves Israeli manufacturers located beyond the ’67
line (including eastern Jerusalem) but also trade activity in general and
other facets of economic interaction between the EU and Israel. In
addition, the EU would take an aggressive role supporting Palestinian legal
action against Israel as well as other diplomatic activity against the
Jewish State.
It is important to note that, according to Kahane, the election of a leftwing government would not take these plans off the table.
In the event that Herzog becomes prime minister, the EU would give the newlyelected Israeli government a few months to make enough “progress” in its
negotiations with the Palestinians to justify indefinitely postponing the
sanctions.
Put another way: the sanction would not be imposed only as long as the EUwould remain satisfied with the pace that Herzog walks down the gangplank.

This is a fine time to remind freepers of our chance to vote with our dollars. All other things being equal, or even close to equal, I’ll support Israel whenever I can.
Europe sides with Islamofacists and boycotts Israeli products.
Islamofacists ramp up attacks in Europe which include nerve gas in major cities.
Turns out that PRX-105 manufactured in Israel is the best protection from such attacks.
Europe says, “Sell us some.”
Israel says, “Can’t, you’re boycotting us.”
When are Europeans going to learn that you never pet a rabid dog?
This reminds me of the Chick-fil-a boycott. And we all remember how that turned out.
Israel’s response should be obvious: for every oppression by Europe, the Israelis should deport Paleos to Europe. Shoot for “value equivalency”, so the greater the sanction, the more Paleos will be deported.
