Louis Farrakhan Calls Giuliani A ‘Privileged Cracker’ & ‘Devil’ For Criticizing Obama [VIDEO]

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan was more than a tad upset with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s criticism of President Barack Obama’s patriotism, saying in his Sunday sermon that Giuliani was a “privileged cracker” and a “devil.”

“Giuliani says Obama does not love America,” Farrakhan said, “And instead of apologizing, they say he doubled down, he tripled down, he said, ‘I’m not taking this back. He didn’t grow up like we grew up.’”

“How did you grow up, Giuliani?” asked Farrakhan. “A privileged cracker?” After that line got enormous applause, he added: “Or I should say, a privileged devil?!”

He continued to attack all Americans of European ancestry, saying, “You grew up on the sweat and the blood of black men and women who made America before your fathers got here! All of you Europeans, you recent immigrants that have found a home in America, and you are so happy. But you walking on our blood. Our blood soaks the soil of America!”

In his rant Farrakhan repeats the phrase common with many black Americans that America was built on the backs of black Americans. While slaves picking cotton certainly helped the southern economy, blacks were mostly absent in most parts of America outside the south.

It was the Irish and other immigrant groups who built the railroads and constructed most of the roads and buildings up north. It was native, Yankee farmers who grew most of the food that fed the north. The numbers of blacks north of the Mason-Dixon line was minuscule.

But blacks have this idea that they were everywhere in the country doing all the hard work. That's one of the biggest myths perpetrated and believed by many blacks.

While true that agriculture products from the South were our largest exports, at the time of the start of the Civil War, the industrial output of the state of New York by itself was more than the entire Southern industrial output. Very few blacks contributed to that Northern economy.

The far superior industrial output is why the North was able to win the war. Even after the war the numbers of blacks north of the M-D line was tiny compared to non-blacks. The stark facts are that in the building of most of what is now America, blacks only had a very tiny role. The great majority of workers erecting buildings, roads, and doing the manual labor outside the south were non-blacks.

Many areas of the upper Midwest, including where I live, were almost totally absent of blacks until very recently. I grew up in a city in Wisconsin, La Crosse, that had exactly one black family in a city of fifty thousand. Even today La Crosse is only one percent black.

So leftists and racial agitators should be condemned for the blatant lie that "America was built on the backs of blacks." Blacks played a role, but far less than the left would have you believe.
