It was the right idea, we just didn't convince enough people. I keep pointing out that this tactic of whip-saw has been played successfully by the NRA for the last five decades, and now they have both parties fearing them and unwilling to anger them.
We need to make the Republican Establishment afraid of us. Constantly voting them in in spite of their backstabbing does not accomplish this.
The ballot box doesn’t seem to work any longer.
I think the problem is multifold. Voters are mislead by the news, the entertainment industries, and by the colleges. There is too much fraud tolerated, (such as crossover voting in Mississippi and multiple illegal votes) and people who should not be voting (Non Taxpayers) are allowed to vote.
Yeah, it seems like the ballot box is broken.
