As far as I know, the GOP has no stance on birth control OR religion, so what the heck is he talking about?

The Republican Party has long taken a stand in favor of LIFE, and that includes the life of the unborn.
If a voter equates abortion with "birth control" then we are not going to get, nor do we want, that voter's vote.
