I do appreciate that clarification, but it’s not though.
It’s certainly the motivation for some evil, but not all.
I just don’t believe that goes far enough. Man is clearly the root of evil in this world, as well as the root of good.
There are many varying motivations for the actions man chooses to take, but man is the root. His presence here brings both good and evil.
The quote says money is A root of all kinds of evil. Not the only root of evil, but one of them.
