In all seriousness, if the other children are vaccinated how are they at risk?
McKinney is only about a decade or so behind the times for vaccine-autism scare peak. Must be ramping up to run again by having her racism card recharged.
I'm not a doctor, but here's my best guess as to your question:
One, if one child is allowed to be unvaccinated, then why not allow two, or two thousand? In a situation like that, bad diseases can spread fast. I'm showing my age here, but think of polio, for example.
And two, it's my understanding that vaccinations don't provide absolute protection, just enhanced protection. So even if all the other children are vaccinated, they are still at some risk.
If I'm wrong about either point I hope some expert here at FR will correct me.
