My dad who was Navy UDT during WWII said that the happiest two people in the Navy were Patrick Fitzjohn and John Fitzpatrick. :-)
A friend who was in the Navy - twice - told us years ago that when serving in WWII in Hawaii, there were 2 Homos in the barracks ‘going at it’ and there was nothing to be done - even tho the men had a range of discomfort - no KIDDing - -
