Callie Chatmans linkedin page says that she is a License, Ordained Minister New Elam Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. Callies bio also states that she worked as a Youth Minister and Adult Sunday School Teacher and she assists the pastor in any means necessary. Oddly, it also says she works at Reproducted Health, an abortion clinic in Alabama. According to a pro-life activist who side walk counsels outside an abortion clinic in Montgomery, Callie Chatman works for Reproductive Health Services abortion clinic in Montgomery. A video uploaded by pro-life activist David Day, allegedly shows that Callies husband, Pastor Louis Chatman of New Elam Baptist Church, dropping his wife off at the abortion clinic. VIDEO ON LINK
Ironically, David Day, Sr., told Christian News Network that Chatman has worked at Reproductive Health Services for years, along with her son Jerome, who is employed as a security guard at the location.
I was stunned that there is actually a pastors wife that works there, Day said. I cant image this pastor whose wife works at the clinic and his people not knowing.
Ive spoken to her one-on-one, and she tells me that women know what theyre doingthey know what [abortion] isbut she says that theres no sin greater [than Gods forgiveness], that were not to judge and that God forgives, he outlined. Its always the same thing: Were not to judge and God forgives. Theres none of us without sin, is what she says.
Chatmans work is no secret, she was mentioned in an Esquire article about another abortionist who claims to be a Christian, Willie Parker.
The article stated:
Right across is the recovery room, empty now. An elderly black woman named Callie Chatman sits waiting for the women to emerge from surgery. Shes a youth minister at a local Baptist church, where her husband is the pastor. She serves here as an exit counselor. You know, preacher been teaching that the wages of sin is death, she says. Not many of them know that God is a forgiving God. So if they ask me if I think theyll go to hell, I tell them what Jesus say: I do not condemn thee. Go and sin no more. I tell them not to make the same mistakeand how not to make the same mistake.
Not one woman has told her that she thought abortion was okay, she adds. What they have told me is its the last resort. And I am here to let them know that God will meet you right where you are. And then I ask them to accept Christ as their lord and savior.
A couple women have accepted, she says, right here in the recovery room.
It is difficult to imagine that anyone who calls themselves a Christian could work in a place that kills Gods children.
Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers! Matthew 7

The members of these churches accept this??
I guess. Read the article. It’s not just the mom who is a youth minister, but the son works security there as well.
I knew from the beginning that she was black. Life is cheap to many of them.
crazy
And she is a liberal, too. Hypocrisy comes easy to them.
I may have to become charismatic. I got a word of knowledge about what I would see in the pictures before I clicked on the link.
I doubt anyone in that ‘church’ has any significant theological training. The only qualification for ordination is being able to shout with enthusiasm when you ‘preach’ and to be willing to dip folks in the hot tub for ‘baptism’.
I bet you hear a lot about social justice there.
Gee.
So, after someone commits the mortal sin of murder, this “pastor’s wife” tells them that they can just erase the sin by praying for forgiveness. What a scam!
It’s a good deal for the abortuary, though. They get the blood money, while ensuring that enough clients are absolved of guilt to become repeat customers (IIRC, about 60% of abortuary clients are repeat customers).
“...were not to judge and that God forgives, he outlined. Its always the same thing: Were not to judge and God forgives. Theres none of us without sin, is what she says.
Has aiding and abetting sin become acceptable to God?
Their FaceBook page is more disturbing than I thought it would be. I imagined it would be a church where the name “Jesus” was rarely spoken. But their page is proclaiming how much they love Jesus. How???
This is rather arrogant. Excusing evil acts.
God does require us to exercise discernment.
Why doesn’t she talk with the females BEFORE they go in?
Oh, I know...she wouldn’t get a paycheck.
That was the TUCC, or Jeremiah Wright's (and Obama's) church. I remember looking at their 'about us' page back in late 2007 and there was not a single reference to Jesus Christ, and only one reference to God. Many references to Black, and Africa.
But I understand your point. What is worse? A so called church that never mentions the LORD, or a church that provides wonderful lip-service to the LORD, but their actions are contrary to His words (supporting abortion and other sinful behavior)?
I don't know. Both are retch worthy.
were not to judge and that God forgives
I’ve heard a lot of “progressive” liberal Christians make such statements.
Apparently black lives don’t matter to these “Christians.”
“I knew from the beginning that she was black. Life is cheap to many of them.”
Two words: Margaret Sanger
Need I say more?
Proverbs 24:11
“Deliver those who are being taken away to death, And those who are staggering to slaughter, Oh hold them back.” NASV
If that is a church then I am the Pope. Those people are reprehensible.
