VIDEO: ABC 7 years ago, predicting NYC would be under water in 2015 because of global warmingStuff like this never gets old, and it never stops being relevant because, remember, the global warmists tell us we must act now or else their dire predictions about the future will inevitably come true. So what do we find when we look back on some of their past predictions? The Media Research Center did just that the other day, dredging up a hilarious (although not intentionally) report by ABC titled “Earth 2015.”
You have to see this. It’s just a 53-second clip but it hits all the highlights. New York City underwater? Milk at $12 a gallon? Gas at $9 a gallon? And all this was supposed to happen by June 8, 2015 - which of course was just a few days ago.

I seriously wonder if the chuckleheads who put this report together were true believers, or if they just figured they’d spew forth a little propaganda and worry about the consequences later. It’s not as if there was no way to save video on the web seven years ago. They had to realize someone might dredge it up in 2015 to see how accurate they were.

Completely disingenuous article: everyone knows that former mayor Bloomberg built a 100 billion dollar wall around NYC to prevent this flood. And the wall worked too! The flooding was completely prevented from happening.

Reality doesn’t matter to the climate change pushers. They just shrug it off to inaccurate data or an unforeseen glitch and go back to their advocacy.
There were some threads recently about NASA (IIRC) even ‘updating’ the data by changing it to match their claims, rather than the recorded reality.
They were claiming similar threats in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s. When the script fails, they just wait a few years, dust it off, and try again.
