Hillary doesn’t like (or understand) Uber, the new low-priced taxi service that is flourishing all over the world. Nor does she like (or understand) Airbnb, the international online apartment and room rental company that says it generated $1.15 billion in economic activity in New York City in 2014, supporting 10,580 jobs.
Why is Hillary opposed to them? Because the big unions hate the competition they’ve created. And Hillary desperately wants the AFL-CIO’s endorsement for president. She’s racing to try and beat Bernie Sanders for their backing. So, attacking the new-economy companies so hated by the unions is one way to get their attention.
That’s the major reason Hillary has singled out companies like Uber and Airbnb. In a major speech on economic policy on Monday Hillary promised to “crack down” on the “gig economy.” Hillary allegedly objects to Uber and Airbnb because the companies classify participants as contractors and don’t provide benefits to workers. Translation: What she really means is that the innovative companies are a threat to the dinosaur unions she is courting.

It's not so much that she's against Uber or Airbnb, it's that she has had very little exposure to it and the opportunity to get familiar with it. Do you remember the press having a field day when Bush Sr. was absolutely amazed, astounded by the price checkers, the press using it as an example of someone totally out of touch with the world because he wasn't familiar with the devices,and would you want to vote for someone so out of touch with the world? Well, Hillary isn't much any different actually quite worse. She doesn't know or understand what, how a FAX machine works, first of all because she herself never had to know how to use one not only because she just told her underlings to fax this or that but even more to the point,she's utterly clumsy,left-handed using, understanding technology.
One of the factors that really helped Zero especially in 2008 was his utter familiarity and proficiency with the new mode of communications and how to manipulate it to his best advantage. The internet, email, twitter working together combined to exponential effect that made a major difference for him in his victory. Hillary has no understanding of how to use of any of these things. That's to her misfortune and our detriment if she wins. She just has Huma fax and email stuff for her.
Here's something utterly ironic and very telling regarding the cluelessness, ignorance,even stupidity of Hillary. Here's a LGBT crying about the dearth of ideas but instead of embracing what is a new approach of supporting yourself, Uber, a compensation model that utilizes an unfamiliar newfangled approach to the way people get around, she discovers the "magic power" of incentive labor via a wholly new approach to work known as "profit sharing" as if she discovered the Grand Unification Theory for the four forces of nature.. I am sure she was probably a bit disappointed that her newfangled "Robin Hood" approach, taking from the rich and giving to the poor to narrow the income disparity aka "Profit Sharing" wasn't hailed as the coming of the "New Deal" Part 2, shades of one of the worst of Democrats.
But there's another palpable reason she neither likes nor understands Uber and didn't make it part of her great economic awakening. Could she possibly understand, appreciate the singular unique luxury of Uber, whereby you simply push an app on your phone and in moments along comes your magic carpet with the ease and convenience of pushing a button. She could never understand the emancipating sense of a real new idea.
So, with someone with Hillary's sensibilities mired in her old-fashioned past, her head up her proverbial canal, is that the sort of President you want, so out of touch with the real world?
All it was to her was to either get in or out of her limousine.
She never had to stand literally in the street her arms flailing outstretched in the dark of winter trying to wrestle a cab from ten other poor shleps the likes of which would be like wrestling some errant hippo having just escaped the zoo.
Could she possibly understand the singular luxury of Uber above else, standing in the street, pushing a button on your phone and in a matter of minutes your magic carpet ride appears. She doesn't know Uber because she never had to use it in some other form to know what it represents in the way of new ideas.

Anything that’s bad for unions is good for the US.
Don’t worry, those hip and trend-setting Ubers (and the likes) are still Dem supporters. What Hillary and Dems worried about is they are losing out on their ‘fair share’ (cut) of money as Uber et. al gaining popularity, not just ‘control’.
Eventually they will come to terms with Dem party and will be heavily controlled just like today’s taxi industry. (Using Uber and taxi as an example)
So, I’m in a bar in Seattle with my son and we were discussing how we were going to get home. He says its no problem and to hand him my IPhone. In just a minute or two and a couple of questions, he handed back my phone and said that when it was time to go, just hit that icon that says “LYFT” (another service like Uber). Pretty cool.
But what I have noticed the few times that I have used both LYFT and Uber is that the drivers I have had each time were all mid-to-late 20s, married or in school and the married ones were doing it to supplement their daytime employment. One fellow was doing it as his young wife was expecting a baby any day.
This has become wildly popular because, from a rider’s point, its easy. And from the driver’s point, its a good way to make a few extra bucks. The other nice part is that no money is flashed, all by app, though I generally give a nice cash tip and in the case of the expectant young dad, a reeeally nice tip. The other cool thing is that you can add a review for your driver and he can review his passengers. So if you get drunk and throw up in his back seat? Or you get otherwise abusive and obnoxious? Future drivers will know when your name pops up.
Bottom line though is thst no union is necessary because it’s not (and shouldn’t be) a career choice.
I wouldn’t bet against you on this. Despite Uber’s global valuation at $40 Billion and the political muscle that goes with it, they’re having a tough time making inroads. They’re going to have to make amends with those in power.

Businessman and TV personality Donald Trump tops the latest Suffolk University/USA Today poll of the Republican presidential primary. Trump has 17 percent support among likely GOP primary voters nationwide, edging out former Florida governor Jeb Bush with 14 percent. The remaining candidates earn support in the single digits.
But while Trump currently reigns in the primary, he would lose double-digits against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. In a head-to-head match-up, Clinton would beat Trump 51 percent to 34 percent, according to the poll. "Clinton was not as strong in matchups against other Republicans," according to the Suffolk press release. "Bush was her closest rival in a matchup that included all voters polled, trailing the former New York senator by a 4 percent margin, 46 percent to 42 percent, with 13 percent undecided. Clinton led all GOP contenders but polled below 50 percent against the top six, with the exception of Trump."
That is absolutely insane, if this country is nuts enough to elect this witch who probably one of, if not the most corrupt politician in this nations history, then this country is already finished. Well, lets hope a debate between Trump and Hitlery happens, it will be the debate of the century, better than any heavyweight fight. She would be insane to agree to it though in my opinion because he will debate her into a sobbing pile of mush.
