Insolvency is a terrible thing, which the world will eventually find out. Trying to suspend the natural economic cycle of boom and bust, trying to guarantee a minimum standard of living for people in order to bribe them for votes to stay in power, and the usual amount of corruption will eventually become more than than these systems can bear.
