Let’s Pass a Ban on the EPA’s Onshore Operations

As furor builds over the EPA disaster in Durango, Colorado, I would like to propose a just solution.

Given that the EPA is an unaccountable, job-killing, river-polluting behemoth, Congress ought to pass a ban on its onshore operations.

Joking aside, while political figures try to brush this fiasco under the table without heads actually rolling or the EPA compensating taxpayers for the environmental damage it caused, the point should be made that the federal government should be held not just to an equal standard as private enterprise, but a higher one.

After all, public servants are accountable to all of us. Private individuals are not.

Yet Democratic Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper argues the exact opposite:

If I were President, one of the first actions would be is a special committee to investigate the employment records, resumes and transcripts of those within the EPA, especially those supposed non-political employees who are there on merit and qualifications.

I’ve seen this before in government. There are more than just a few cases of outright fraud with regard to employment qualifications. Degrees, certificates, work experience, references and the like. I’d have them all get a document/reference rectal exam.

Why you say? Because lying on employment applications is an automatic case for termination.

Has anyone come across how the ‘”accident” really occurred yet? Or seen photos of the actual site where it occurred?

Along with that require the EPA to clean up the mess within their current budget. Lay off as many needed to provide the money.

We ask that citizens stay out of the river water until the discoloration has passed.
Nothing to see here - just some EPA caused discoloration - keep moving.
