The Immigration Solution

Immigration issues have varying effects on the residents of the host countries. I'd like to visit a few of these effects and hopefully get some feedback.

One thing that should be made clear is that the current migrant issue is not one of "people seeking asylum". We're talking about millions of people. This is not a family being perecuted and wishing to be exiled, this is much larger than that. Politicians/Religious Leaders keep referring to this issue as an Immigration Issue but that is not what this is at all. Immigration is when someone applies to another country for citizenship. Where are the applications here and when were they filed? This is not immigration at all.

First, I ask, how is this fair to everyone involved? From the perspective of those seeking to get away from their home, it's not fair to force the migrants' assimilation into societies where their core values/traditions and beliefs conflict with the current laws of other lands. On the flipside, it's not fair to force accomodation of those things onto the host countries people. As a government, elected by the people, their responbility should be to their voters/taxpayers, not the refugees of another country. To avoid semantics, I'm going to refer to the Syrian/Pakistan/Afghanistan/etc migraters as a blanketed term "migrants".

The main problem in the current approach to the migrants is that spreading discourse around the world may thin it out but now it just covers more area. The only effective way to support the migrants is to assist them on location, where the problem is. By removing migrants from these hostile environments and supplanting them into other environments, it effectively creates more hostile environments when those migrants choose not to assilmilate and maintain their current lifestyle structures. I would love to see a world where we all just get along but that world will never exist unless everyone is in a cage. I can tolerate a lot of diversity but there is a threshold. That threshold is when I'm required to act a certain way in lieu of offending someone's religious convictions or cultural attributes. I try to think about what I say before I say it and sometimes what I need to say is not acceptable to some people. They have the right to be offended and I have the right to speak my mind. I wouldn't expect those rights to be relevant if I went to the migrant's country and they should not expect their's to be relevant in mine. That's why the world is divided in such ways, to provide people a place to live in accordance with their own lifestyle choices.

Second, we must confront the money. Who's footing the bill and how much will it take to assist the migrants? I've seen drastic variations of proposed numbers in the media but without a doubt, this is in no way inexpensive. The most cost effective strategy is the one that I've already stated, bring the solution to the problem instead of spreading the problem around the world. We need to help these people reclaim their land from the factions of terror which are threatening everyone around the world. There are some theories about why we haven't so much as wounded the Islamic State's occupation in the middle east and I hope that Russia cleans house and shows our spineless Commander In Chief how to fight terrorism. Fighting terrorism does not consist of gutting the US Military and training the opposition.

Third, where do the migrants go once they've been accepted into America? I vote Puerto Rico. This goes for all of the other undocumented people in America. Puerto Rico is American territory, so if we must compromise with not deporting illegals and accepting undocumented migrants from around the world, then they should all be centralized and let them grow into their own peaceful society.

I absolutely disagree with allowing all of these people into the contiguous 48 states to roam freely. It's heartbreaking, what these people must be going through but it would be more fulfilling for them to achieve a victory at home instead of a displaced sense of belonging somewhere else.

Forever Free,
Bruce Davis

Hey Bruce...iWord: It’s Invasion.

They may not be driving tanks and carrying Kalashnikovs (well, not all of them), but an Invasion it is.

They see it that way, their leaders see it that way, and so should we. They are here to colonize and settle, and ultimately to rule.

That’s all it is. Invasion.

First, immigration policy should always serve the interests of citizens. First, foremost, always.

Second, you should only admit people who admire your society and want to be one of you... and who have something to contribute.

And you should only admit them in numbers who can be assimilated and integrated into the whole.

This is not that difficult. But you will never see our betters consider any of this, or consider what any citizen wants, in setting policy. They will never tell you how they arrive at the numbers they admit or the countries they give preference to.

Way to wordy.

Step #1 - Mandate E-Verify for every business and individual hiring a person.

Step #2 - Impose a $50,000 fine per illegal employee per day for any business or individual who has not documented thru E-Verify the legal employment status of any person they employ.

Step #3 - Allow 6 months for employers to find legal replacements. After that 6 months, any person caught in the United States illegally will be permanently barred from re-entry into the United States for any reason.

Step #4 - Enforce Zealously.

Isn’t step 1 already being heavily enforced, for natural born USA citizens?

I’ve had to provide verified multiple proofs of my identity numerous times in the past decade on job, housing and financial transaction applications. So has my daughter.

Focus on Step 2.

Add in a citizen/whistle blower bounty, and also fine the shady lawyers of employers of illegals set fines under RICO statutes.

Problem solved!

You are correct of course.

The seven deadly sins get in the way, though.

Pride/arrogance, greed, gluttony, lust, envy, anger and sloth.

I go to Weight Watchers and see the price of gluttony and sloth every time. Those folks are in denial and INSIST that exercise is merely "helpful." They believe and live the lie that ONLY eating right and eating less is the only thing that counts; exercise is "helpful."

So the organization has a BUILT-IN group of non-believers (in exercise) who will be fighting weight for the rest of their lives.

I agree.

That’s why I chose the National Sovereignty tags. I wanted to convey the situation in such a way to allow the reader to conclude an “invasion” for themselves and not feel like I’m telling anyone how to think. It’s merely a matter of deducing logic and facts. It’s quite obvious, yet too many leaders want to guilt people into accepting this as a good thing. Their freedom needs to be on their soil!

If Mexicans need help, we need to send help to Mexico, not move Mexico into the USA. This backwards logic is only trying to gain political appeal and votes from people who are technically not eligible TO vote. At least until the current Anti-American/Executive Branch changes the law for them so the Dems can rake in the votes and void everything you just outlined.

If the gov had been enforcing these laws from the start, we wouldn’t be in the situation we are today. It’ been going on a long time. The current cronies are just trying to make it legal to be undocumented and throw americans in jail for exercising their rights.

$50,000 fine

It could be just a $100 per day and it would work.

You can’t give others out of your own poverty. Obama and liberals have driven this country into 19 trillion dollars of poverty. We can’t afford to take in everyone who claims refugee status. We can help as we are able in their own country or culture. If so many illegal Hispanics were not here we might be able to accommodate true Christians refugees.
