Teenage clockmaker invited to Qatar by an organization with ties to the terror group
The story of Ahmed Mohamed, the Dallas schoolboy made famous by the reaction to his arrest for bringing a homemade clock that resembled a suitcase bomb to school, has taken another curious turn. According to the Dallas Morning News, Ahmed and his family have accepted an invitation extended by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development to visit Qatar. Their sister institution, the Qatar Foundation International (QFI) was founded by Sheikh bin Al Thani, who also created Al Jazeera. QFI has links to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB.)
The trip is another leg on what is best described as a celebrity-like tour. On Monday, Ahmed’s newfound status took him to New York’s City Hall, where he received a proclamation from Public Advocate Letitia James. James referred to Ahmed as a role model and allowed him to sit in her council chamber chair. Ahmed was also given a tour of City Hall by Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, and was presented with framed commendation by city Comptroller Scott Stringer. “All students should engage w/ science and technology—Ahmed Mohamed is a role model for all NYers,” Stringer tweeted after the meeting.
Qatar is where the five released terrorists reside who were traded for Bergdahl.
I guess this kid is so smart he no longer has to attend school.
Ahmed is being groomed for PRESIDENT of the US.
His daddy ran for President of Sudan. I’d say it is likely that daddy is a “sleeping” terrorist...and that they will never return to the USA which is great.
This entire hoax suckered in such “smart” people at Zuckerberg and Gates. The people in Irving, TX were familiar with this militant Muslim family and knew what was going on. Again, our Democrat media was led by their bleeding hearts instead of their brains, a fatal quality for good judgment. Of course, the Muslim-lover in the White House will still roll out the red carpet for the little Muslim Brotherhood recruit, because he told us at the beginning of his presidency that his loyalty is with the Muslims.

I was just venting.
Young Ahmed baited the police and answered with passive aggressive responses to their questions. That is certainly his choice and it is protected under the constitution. It is not against the law to bait the police and school administration, as far as I know.
However, what he did was take an 80s Radio Shack clock apart and repackage it to look like a bomb. There is no evidence of brilliance here, though the kid may indeed be smart.
Look at the dishonest spin the story was portrayed in the mainstream media. Watch the press conference in which the very scary CAIR lawyer and others portrayed this event as something other than what it was. What was that foreign phrase they all spoke before addressing the camera? This does not play well in America.
I am told I should be tolerant, but these people are 5th columnists and they should go to some other country to set up Sharia. The media is again lying to the American people by playing up the poor, innocent brilliant scientist kid. The kid lied when he claimed it was his invention.
Clockmaker slockmaker! He didn’t make a damn thing but a box that looked like a bomb. Stop calling him a “clockmaker”!
They will show him how to construct a working time bomb.
