Russia is the only country which really fits the description of Magog. Gog is from what little I know, the leader of Magog.
Right now that could be Putin and Russia but maybe the next or next etc. leader of Russia.
If Russia turns Christian then that would mess up the whole prophecy.
I would like to think this guy knows what he is talking about, but judging by his writing skill and style, he does not. You convince people by having a lucid, articulate argument and exegesis. That is not the case here, no matter what the article is about.

From historical research of ancient maps and their correlation to modern maps, I’ve always known that Gog and Magog are primarily Turkey. Gog = the leader, Magog = the country that leader leads.
Russia fulfils next to nothing, ancient nor modern regarding Magog. Although it’s very popular amongst Evangelicals to insist that it is Russia, one should let them continue to believe this, because they’re so entrenched in their opinion.
However, historically they’re wrong and many Middle Eastern and Theological Scholars will tell one that Gog and Magog are Asia Minor ie. Turkey.

I am not sure if anybody here remembers Zola. I miss him, may he RIP. Great teacher. Anyway, the first time I saw Shoebat was on his program. I always thought Magog was Russia until I saw Shoebat and now, I am convinced Magog is Turkey.
