In prophetic terms Magog is the primary governor of Turkey. I would call him the Prime Minister. From 2003 to 2014 Turkey’s Prime Minister was Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He is the prime candidate to fulfill the end time role of Magog the primary governor of Turkey.

In Ezekiel chapter 38 Turkey leads an invasion into Israel along with Libya, Iran, and Sudan. All of these nations are fighting in Syria today. In Ezekiel chapter 39 the chief prince of Turkey leads the battle of Armageddon. The primary governor of Turkey is the Antichrist.”

There, is that better? It consistently says in the Bible they are PEOPLE and a COUNTRY....NOT “spiritual beings”

This pretty much sums up why Gog and Magog are not Russia and never have been:

So why make this ONE exception, when it’s not used to interpret the Bible anywhere else?

The whole Russia theory mainly was pushed by anti-Communists many, many decades ago, because of their anti-Communist agenda and general hatred of Russia....and the Evangenicals lapped it up.
