Donald Trump is getting traction among Blacks. Have you heard about this? Probably not.
A SurveyUSA Labor Day weekend poll, showing Blacks supporting Trumps presidential run at a rate of 25%, has been buried as quickly as it was announced. After all, news that the state media doesnt like rarely sees the light of day.
Nevertheless, what is strange about the news of Blacks supporting Trump is that it was not immediately attacked and mocked as an outlier. It was not derived from a college poll seeking to grab fifteen minutes of fame. This is chilling news in a chilling presidential cycle for people used to shaping the news.
The SurveyUSA poll presented a trap for the media and Trump haters that, at least this time, they were smart enough to avoid.
The internals of the survey showed that among cell phone users, Trump is being crushed by even Comrade Bernie Sanders which is less likely than Trump being beaten by Col. Sanders. It showed Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden crushing Trump as well.
Why, then, would we NEVER hear about this poll again?
The twenty five percent Black support, thats why. They couldnt find a way to tell America that Trump was losing to a Communist without opening the door on the rest of the data in this poll.
The fact that Trump is getting support from Blacks is not a blip on the screen.
Something is happening out there. Blacks who are paying attention understand that they are being pushed to the back of the bus by a Democrat Party that takes their support for granted. They have found it hard enough to slip to second most important minority behind American Hispanics; but falling behind illegal aliens may be just be too much...

We don’t need someone to come save America, we need pathetic lumps to learn that they are on their own and must pick themselves up.
Coach is right on this one.
For some reason Trump has always been popular among black Americans.
First time I really remember hearing of Trump was almost 30 years ago when a black rapper, I think it was KRS-1, was on the Arsenio Hall show talking about how much he respected and admired Donald Trump.
We need smaller government, something that used to be a primary focus of the GOP, until it wasn’t.
GOPe: “We need to reach out beyond conservatives to minorities!”
Trump: “I am doing great with conservatives and get north of 20% of African Americans”
GOPe: “Well....that’s not what we meant.”
If that poll wasn’t a fluke, and Trump is really getting 25% traction among blacks...well...goodbye Democrats.
Ted Cruz is pretty focused on the idea of smaller government. Its why he got applause from the Iowa Agriculture summit when he said he wanted to end their ethanol subsidies while eliminating a lot of their taxes and regulations so farmers can find their own path to prosperity.
I was told here that conservatism isn't the answer any longer, so that's out-of-date thinking. /S
We just haven’t found the right “The One” yet. We tried in ‘08 and ‘12. Let’s try again in ‘16. We’ll get it right some day! Then our lives will be full of unicorns and Skittles.
Not surprising since Trump has provided jobs and does not patronize them.
Yes.
Not only provided jobs but the only one to indicate hed plug the southern hole thats taking jobs.
Exactly. That is a huge plus for Trump.
GOPe is for big tent republicanism, until they aren’t.
