[ Eventually this crap affects the bottom line. Just wait until the next major crisis hits as more and more people realize just how FOS the traitors at Marvel have become. ]

Once they start pushing the “message” more than the story their movies and comics will start bombing and they will start wondering why their box office receipts are tanking.

Future (and present) low-info voters -- a.k.a. mouth-breathers -- rely on comic books, the Daily Show, HuffPo, SNL, and other party-line agitprop to find a shallow view to hold.

To my knowledge there has been no woman nor gay Cap America. However Thor is now a woman but he has also been a Thunder Frog which was probably worse.

I think I read that DC made the Golden Age Green Lantern gay, the GL whose power ring was ineffective against wood.

Makes me glad my comic book days were back in the 50's when men were men, and woman were glad of it. We'd get our comics at the corner grocery store owned by a little old Italian couple. I can still remember the smell of the place...cheeses and meats hung up in the back where the meat counter was. The comics were up front. Batman, Superman, Blackhawk, Plastic Man, Little Lulu, Casper, and many more were the favorites of the day. Once we were finished reading them, we'd take them to a store that allowed you to trade your old comics for other old comics.

I got into watching the Marvel movies as my youngest son (now 44) has been a comic book junkie since his youth. When he was living near me, we used to go to the movies when a new Marvel film came out. He's moved out of state, so I'm getting the new movies when they get to Netflix.

He should be called “Captain UN” or “Captain New World Order”.

I still have a collection of over 35k books but the only thing I’ve added in the past 10 years has been pre-1990’s stuff. Very little newer stuff I’ve found worth the money and most of it you can pick up for pennies on the cover price if you wanted.

Oh I cant wait to hit this article on my Captain America Ground Zero Blog.

Nowhere in the comic do we hear of the “rape trees” used by real coyotes, or of the countless illegals who perish because their noble benefactors have taken all of their money and left them in the middle of the desert.——

How about the murderous illegal aliens? Where is the money from these books going to victims of that crime? How about the illegal guns that are coming across the border? Or the cartels that are killing and shipping drugs across.? Nope, that ain’t Steve Rogers, it’s harry reid under that mask. Screw these liberal pieces of crap. I have all the bad guys played by hollywood actors. In one panel I have our muslim president lying dead after agent Carter kills him. I have Muhammed turning into a terrorist but that didn’t cause any Benghazi’s to happen.

Actually they attacked the Tea Party in one comic before Disney bought them. The lying pos stanley liebowitz aka stan lee is a huge clunton supporter from way back. Remember the Peter Paul incident?

Kind of like tom hanks and spielberg now. You may be a great actor and a great director but your last movie only opened to $15 million.

My mother taught me to read with Little Lulu comic books before I started school. By then I had become infatuated with women and got in trouble in kindergarten chasing Dawn S. around the room in 1956. Teacher gave me a time out and I found a Micky mouse book and was reading it. Teach noticed and asked me if I could read it out loud and I did. When I moved to first grade my teacher gave me a key to the school library (a closet) and told me I could use it whenever I wanted.

I read most of the comic characters you mentioned and was in with Marvel from the start. It was only about 15 years ago that I quit reading them altogether. I’m sad to hear how the comic characters are being eviscerated and emasculated by PC run amok. The Marvel movies have been good though, especially the ones being made by Marvel Studios.

I have 10’s of thousands of comics dating back to the early seventies. Wish I’d known better how I should have preserved them.

Thor is only a woman in the sense that a woman is now Thor.

We’re not talking gender reassignment here. Thor the Odinson is still a man. Jane Foster was able to pick up Molinjr, becoming “Thor”

Thor Odinson became unworthy. The Hammer (which is now considered to be at least semi-sentient) chose Jane.

Very Green Lantern ring-ish. IMHO.

Good analogy. I assume you like the current storyline. Who are the writer and artists?

Don’t know offhand. I’m only dabbling in it out of curiousity, giving me enough info to be somewhat conversant. I’m much more into the MCU stuff than the comics. But the MCU is spurring me to pick the up the comics and at least peruse them ;-)

Although I will say, based on what I’ve seen and heard of the Sam Wilson/Cap storyline (from news reports of it) Issue 1 ends with a cliffhanger of him getting called out by Steve Rogers. Might be setting up a nice conflict between the two for Issue 2 and beyond.

Like you I was reading before I went to kindergarten. My favorite Little Lulu stories were when they featured Lulu as the poor little girl and Witch Hazel.

I lived in Rochester, NY then, and there was a branch library near the school we all went to. My mother used to take us once a week, and then when they closed the branch, and started having a book mobile come to the neighborhood, we went there. When my two sons were little, I read to them like my mother did to me, and I'd regularly take them on the bus to the main library in Rochester so they could pick out their books. I still love reading, and usually have three books going at once.

Let me just correct you. Stan Lee created nothing. Jack Kirby created almost all of the marvel universe. Steve Ditko was Spider-Man creator.
