We are suffering from sickness in our spiritual realm which is naturally being manifest in our physical realm.
Unfortunately, we are very determined in our sickness and without a change of heart that leads to a change of mind, there will be no change of life.
Instead, it's the continual zombie death plague described in Paul's 1st Letter to the Romans 24-32.

Even weirder is that fact that, unless you are some NBA stud with a bottomless bank account and packs of sycopants who want to be boinked by you, married monogamous people actually get MORE sex (not just better quality) than their swinger counterparts.

Exactly. And it is an obsession especially for gays. I read somewhere that a gay male might have as many as 1500 partners in they lifetime. 1500 PARTNERS!
Darn good chance that you are going pick something up with that many partners and many times that number of encounters.

Your chances of picking up STDs from such relationships is multiplied exponentially. IOW, you get the risks with none of the joys.

And what do people do when they catch a deadly and dangerous strain of the flu or an nasty virus like Eboli? The infected are quarantined. However, some reason, maybe obvious reasons, we refuse to do the same with AIDS.

“Monogamous” and non-monogamous relationships were found to have the same rate of STDs in a recent study.
Since the ones who assume they are monogamous do not take precautions. And at least one of the partners is fairly likely to cheat.

Most STDs are curable within a month so you are likely correct.
