While on my bike exercising in the morning in North Florida, I made this short video of me singing one verse of the song, “Blessed Assurance” and tell how to come to the Lord and make peace with Him from our sin. Sorry for back ground noise, this video was done near a busy highway.

Very touching, very to-the-point. You make the only point that is even remotely relevant or important in this life. Jesus Christ is the Lord God Almighty. Making peace with Him is paramount over all other issues of life.
Jesus is “there”, and He is not silent. He listens, and He speaks to us, through His Word, by His Spirit, because of His love, as you mentioned.
People in His day dropped everything they were doing to go great distances just to see, hear, and watch Him. They were impressed with Him, and desperate for Him. Those are the same two postures for us to assume if we are to have Him, as you mentioned in your reference to Hebrews 11.

Thank you so much. My mother is in the hospital and doctors told us yesterday that she is not expected to live. She cannot talk to us now but one of the last things I remember her saying is Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:13 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

I already knew that she was saved but she was still calling on Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
