We MUST go back to immigrants having a guaranteed job and a SPONSOR who is an American citizen!!!!
I doubt that they had a guaranteed job... jobs were easy to find in the early 50’s if you were willing, but he still made the guarantee, and would have done what he had to do to honor it, I’m sure.
