ILLINOIS Kirk sides with U.S. Senate Democrats on gun rights
WASHINGTON DC - During four crucial votes on Second Amendment issues, U.S. Senator Mark Kirk departed from the Republican majority last week in D.C. Illinois' junior senator chose instead to vote with senior Senator Dick Durbin and the Democrat minority.
Kirk was the only Republican to vote with Democrats on the following votes on December 3:

If Cook County was it’s own state this crap would not happen.
This isn’t astounding. It’s exactly what I’d expect from any Senator from Illinois. The Republican thing is probably just the clean-up lie to get those hicks out in the country to vote for him. He looks like a snake weasel.
Hard to get worked over this. He’s the best Republican you can reasonably hope for from Illinois, and his ACU ratings are orders of magnitude higher than those of any Illinois Democrat who could conceivably be elected. (This year, for example, Kirk = 64, and Durbin = 0.)
In before the GOPe bootlickers scream that we need to hold our noses for Kirk so we can keep the Senate.

I find it amazing that Kirk and the Dem Senators all missed their Constitutional Law classes when the 4th and 6th Amendments were discussed. A citizen does not forgo their rights just because someone suspects them of something. And, giving this AG any more power is beyond belief.
It’s honestly a waste of money and effort to elect R’s from Dem strongholds. Every vote of importance, they go with the Democrats anyway. Just let the Democrats own these hellholes.
I’m in Illinois and I refuse to vote for baby killers. Period. Central and southern Illinois are way more conservative than the Chicago area. We’ve even got some dems who get the 2nd Amendment down this way. At some point, we are going to have to find a way to break through. Meanwhile, the worst advice possible is to give in to fatigue. We are tired. It’s been a long and hard fight, and it will be longer still. But we can never give up. It’s not a moral option. Period.

This “going along to get along” by “electable” GOPe candidates has led the the mess our country is in. It is far past time for a wholesale cleansing of GOPe office holders who refuse to support conservatism.
Either in the primary, or in the general, Kirk has got to go.
The three existential issues for the short term are defending the Second Amendment, preventing Amnesty, and repealing Obamacare. A loss on any one of the three will quickly destroy America, with no hope of recovery.
