I'm more interested on the ancient generals: Julius Caesar, Hannibal, etc. and people like William the bastard/Conqueror, etc., but each to her or his own, I say.

I’m not as up on Caesar and Hannibal as I should be, but do appreciate Leonidas and know that Socrates was a soldier. I intend to study a bit about Genghis Khan and have an acquaintance with Attila due to his attempts to conquer portions of France. I find Alexander fascinating as well. As Shucks, guess I just like to learn about things that really happened. History is fascinating and I love it. Am attempting to write a book of my own....actually two. Thee first should be finished shortly.
