Texas Sen. Ted Cruz told Fox News host Sean Hannity Wednesday that if Donald Trump is elected president, he will continue the âcronyism and bailoutsâ that has characterized the Obama administration.
âDonald has promised he will go to Washington. Heâll cut deals,â explained Cruz. âHeâll go along to get along.â

Sounds like as we get closer to Iowa, Cruz is getting desperate.
So is Cruz saying if he get in he will do nothing?
Trump does like to make “Deals”. AKA reach across the aisle.
Except his deals will be great deals, better than anyone has ever seen before.
Since when is telling the truth “desperation”?
What do you call ethanol subsidies and the TARP bailout? Cruz is pointing out the truth. Trump the deal maker will be a Chuck Schumer-Nancy Pelosi dream come true.
Sounds like he simply repeated what Trump already promised. What do you suppose ‘deals’ with liberals means other than giving liberals what they want? How about simply telling them “No”? Because for years we have ALL agreed that one does not ‘deal’ with liberals.
But now the new ‘One” says “Deal” and it’s all the rage?
With a big beautiful door to ship the left everything it wants through.
Cruz doesn’t get it. “Cronyism” is a Washington word. “Bailout” is a Washington word. Most people really have no idea what they mean in the context that he’s using them. He needs to simplify his language. Say something like “Money is all that’s important to Donald Trump”. Or “Donald Trump will do anything for money”. That’s why Trump is cleaning his clock....he knows how to appeal to voters.
Cruz is going off the rails.
All the other attacks failed so now he is just making stuff up.
I think he's saying that with respect to some issues or problems he would do nothing. Having a national government of limited and enumerated powers means that there are going to be things that it cannot do, and shouldn't be trying to do.
Helicondelta

Another Trump plant from August 2015
Cruz is a professional agitator who just happens to be conservative. I’m getting really tired of Ted complaining about everyone and everything yet neglecting to answer the basic question; what is he going to do and how is he going to get it done? He’s played right into Trump’s hands vis a vis not getting along with everyone. Trump just reinforced the negative. There’s nothing wrong with making deals as long as you have a strategic vision and an outcome in mind. Trump as a CEO gets that because that’s what CEO’s do. I have every confidence that the deals Trump makes will be to the advantage of the country.
So I have to choose between some of the Iowa corn farmers I met during my years at University of Iowa —and— the oil producers such as OPEC, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Iran, Mexico, Nigeria etc.
I think I will go with some of the nicest people I met in Iowa. They made me feel welcome, even though I was just a young foreign student, they invited me for Thanks Giving dinners, and invited me to spend a weekend on their farms. I still remember being served the finest corn fed steak during those visits. Even Chicago restaurants could not match the quality of those home grown corn fed steaks in Iowa.
Trump endorsed Marxist Bill de Blasio for NYC mayor in 2013 (my title)
“... Fred Dicker: What is it going to mean for Donald Trump to have Bill de Blasio as [New York City] Mayor?”
Donald Trump: “He's a smart guy that knows what's going on really big league and I think he is not going to want to destroy New York.”
Voice Over: That was Donald Trump a little over two years ago, endorsing PC Socialist Bill de Blasio for New York Mayor.
Donald Trump: “I think pretty strongly that he'll end up being a good mayor, maybe a very good mayor.”
Voice Over: De Blasio ran on class warfare, sanctuary cities and ending stop and frisk. De Blasio’s sided with looters and cop killers against the police, with teachers unions against schoolchildren and with PC liberals to let the homeless run wild on city streets.
Donald Trump: “I think he is going to want to make New York great. ...”

That is it? That is all you got against Helicondelta? The date on which he signed up on FR? How pathetic! How hollow!!
So you must favor Bernie Sanders this time. He is older than the hills.
I hate to say it but that does sound like desperation on Ted’s part. However it is politics and he is doing what he can to win.
