IMO, not many conservative delegates would vote for Romney in a brokered convention. He’s DOA.

What states would he take from Trump? Those voting for Trump are doing so primarily because Trump is an outsider. The former party nominee certainly cannot run as an outsider.

He doesn't even have to go third party. If he's the overwhelming leader in delegates going into the convention, and through backroom shenanigans the party gives the nomination to Romney, a lot of people that voted for Trump will stay home. If they stay home, they won't be out there voting for those down-ticket candidates either.

I have a feeling he was testing the waters with McCain to shore him up and the hard and fast and hot blowback has knocked him back.
If Romney ran it would only water down the Rubio/Kasich vote and thus help Trump in the proportional delegates states. I don’t see Trump losing any voters to Romney.
I would support such a drive to create a web site immediately to see how many million signatures can be assembled.

Windows 10 destroyed my desktop and my ability to edit the First Republican debate, where the Fox Blonde Slut and her RICO co-conspirators badgered Trump into promising to support the officially chosen GOP presidential candidate, and to not run as an independent. Remember that?
Was it reasonable for most of us to conclude that THE GOPe ITSELF, AND ITS MSM ENABLERS WERE PLEDGING THEMSELVES TO THE SAME COMMITMENT BY UNUTTERED IMPLICATION? SUCKERS!!! ALL OF US.
I am desperately trying to find a way to isolate that portion of the first GOPe debate where Trump was badgered into commiting himself, the 5 to 10 minutes. Can anyone help? I think Trump should post it on his web site so we can all link to it daily as a reminder of the desperation GOPe duplicity. I would post it daily on FR and every other web site available...
