Russell Simmons Endorses Hillary Because We Have To Eat Plants Or We All Will Die
The Federalist Papers ^ | 3/ | Robert Gehl

Russell Simmons is a “hip-hop media mogul” (maybe that’s on his business card) and I guess his endorsement carries some weight because CNN reported it like it was breaking news.

But that’s where any semblance of normalcy or reality ends because Russell Simmons is crazy.

In the CNN interview, he announced he is endorsing his “longtime friend” Hillary Clinton.

Why? Well … Let’s let Mr. Simmons explain:

“I have just decided to endorse my longtime friend Sen. Clinton,” Simmons said. “I think that Sen. Sanders is overpromising; he’s insensitive to the plight of black people.”

Bernie Sanders is insensitive to the plight of black people? Is he talking about the same Bernie Sanders who was arrested for protesting segregation when Simmons was in kindergarten? Um … ok. But that’s not the only totally insane reason he’s endorsing Hillary. Go ahead, Mr. Simmons:

snip

“The number one threat to America and to the world is the factory farming lobby because it is poisoning the planet quickly and it is poisoning its inhabitants. So the shift has to be away from the animal products, away from the beef industry, specifically, but all the animal products into a plant-based diet or there will be no planet and in the next 50 years, we won’t even have an ocean. So if the ocean’s die, we die.”

Simmons went on … but you get the picture.

Apparently, when Simmons told all this wacky claptrap to Sanders, Sanders brushed him off as the nutjob he is. Hillary, on the other hand must have done a much better job maintaining a straight face and not bursting out in laughter when Simmons told her all of this.

Simmons has been a vegan for almost 17 years now and must be suffering from a B12 deficiency.

So, as I said, Russell Simmons’ endorsement of Hillary over Bernie Sanders must be important to someone, I’m just not sure who it is.

I thought vegans were people who owned Chevrolet Vegas.

Our species may indeed be evolving, however slowly, but I don’t think we’ll go from being the carnivores that we are to being herbivores. Sorry vegans, it just wasn’t meant to be.

I think Russell Simmons himself is the one who is “ insensitive to the plight of black people.”

Russell Simmons markets a prepaid debit card, The Rush Card. Last October technical problems denied his customers access to their own money for 10 days.

This thread discusses the problem.

If vodka was made from animal fats Russell would not be spewing this whine.

a) what about the people who are allergic to gluten? (what a weird allergy for a species who allegedly survived on grass before meat)

b) taking calorie values into consideration, how many tons of veggies will the average person need to eat each year to maintain minimum caloric intake of protein? how much clean water is needed to grow all those veggies? where will it come from? and how much farmland will need to be developed? what is the impact on topsoil of such intensive farming? where is the fertilizer coming from without cows and other manure-producing animals? what about the use of weed-killers? and use of growth stimulators (miracle-grow)? and artificial fertilizers that contain trace amounts of radioactivity? how much pollution will be caused by all those machines, from the factories that build them to the planting, weeding, harvesting and processing, not to mention the increase in the fleet of trucks constantly on the road to deliver ‘fresh’ produce?

Hey, Russell, Hey Dude.. Take a look at Clintons mentor Margaret Sanger. She wanted something special for you....

Sorry dude, but she, not I, or most everyone else, wanted you DEAD!

Yeah, her Hero, and in some strange twist, yours!

Sorry vegans, it just wasn’t meant to be.

On one hand leftists/vegans tell us we're all just animals like other animals. But many animals are carnivores or omnivorous.

It was a huge shock to the food nazis when they found out chimps eat meat. I doubt chimps were unable to eat veggies. They like meat. Like we do...because we've adapted to eating meat from the earliest days of man.

The food nazis might as well tell lions, tigers, bears, etc., to stop eating meat, because it would make about as much sense as telling homo sapiens to stop eating meat.

He could be Seventh Day Adventist.

To Dr. Carson's credit, he never promoted vegetarianism/veganism to save the planet. It doesn't go with the imminent end times meme.

“It was a huge shock to the food nazis when they found out chimps eat meat.”

My instincts tell me that not only were they shocked, but also extremely disappointed when they made that discovery.
