Established power doesn't give up easily. If established even thinks it's going to lose power, it lashes out in irrational ways.

Maybe a President Trump or Cruz may end up just becoming part of the established power. But the established power can't risk that they may not. That's why the GOPe wouldn't mind a Hillary win
