Answering Mexican Secretary of Finance Luis Videgaray & former President Vicente Fox

Mexican Finance Minister Luis Videgaray recently rejected Donald Trump´s proposal of building a wall between the US and Mexico. Yahoo News quoted the Minister:

“Under no circumstance will Mexico pay for the wall that Mr. Trump is proposing.” “Building a wall between Mexico and the United States is a terrible idea. It is an idea based on ignorance and has no foundation in the reality of North American integration.”

Folks, the wall is an idea made popular by the widespread disgust of the American people with the large numbers of shaky, shady and criminal aliens crossing our border from Mexico. Mexico is not our friend-they distribute matricula cards to facilitate illegal work and banking proceeds in US banks-likely also facilitating drug money laundering. The Mexican people, in too many instances, display wanton disrespect for the United States. How? One of the worst expressions involves the claim that the American Southwest belongs to Mexico. Many Mexican nationals believe this, having been taught that the American Southwest was stolen from them by the US.

Many Mexicans also have the odious custom of using the Mexican flag everywhere in the US. This activity makes Mexico a de facto source of cultural and political subversives. How do we separate those willing to follow the rules and work for a better way of life in the United States from the criminals and welfare schemers? Look first for a work document processed through the US embassy or government offices.

There are currently millions of Mexican illegals living in...

We should invade that country and disestablish its elite Castilian descendants’ reign for the good of the true Mexican peoples.

Dear Luis Videgaray & former President Vicente Fox,
Please shut your pie holes. You aren’t citizens of the USofA, so keep your opinions to yourself

For some reason, I was unable to access the story with the link, so I tried www.thecoachisright.com, and was able to get to the website that way.

The article is right on. This is all bluster. The wall will be built IF Trump is elected IMO, and the rest is Political Posturing by those against him. I believe Trump has the Moral Outrage and support of the majority of Americans, including Legal residents from Mexico, to get the wall built on time, and on budget, and effect US sovereignty.

We should invade that country

Under the "you break it, you bought it" rule, Mexico would then be our responsibility.

The current trouble with Mexico is that they are exporting some of their troubles to us. And you want to get involved in all of their troubles?

Who expects white and black Americans to be employed in the building of this wall. It will be the ubiquitous hard workers outside on hot days doing menial labor, the Hispanic folks. They will be be building this wall.

So in the sense of who’d blood and sweat will pay for the wall - “Mexico’s”.

Who will pay and pay for this wall - the same people who built the other three walls - Soviet Union, China, Israel. They look like idiots for their walls. They had very good reasons, each national security retention, but they look like impotent efforts after history looks back, like the Maginot line.

We need to do something aggressive for sure, something effective - a wall will not be, unfortunately.

the reality of North American integration

I forget. When did we vote to get married to the violent, corrupt and vicious disaster area of the leftover, decrepit Spanish empire?

Last time I checked my ancestors fought a war over that in 1846-48 and uh, we won. They signed a treaty that said it's our land, and we even paid them a consolation prize amount...even though it never was their land.

Dear Mexican Secretary of Finance Luis Videgaray & former President Vicente Fox,

I have a great idea to eliminate the problem of Mexican citizens leaving Mexico.

CLEANUP YOUR SHIT HOLE CORRUP COUNTRY and your citizens will not have to leave to survive.

You two dirt bags are part of the problem, fix it.

Now see, wasn't that easy?

Mexico can’t build the fence because all their former presidents stole the money from the government!

There is a very simple and wholly American controlled way to get Mexico to “pay for the wall.”

Withhold all American financial aid to Mexico until the wall is built and paid for. If it takes one year or ten.

There is NOTHING that requires us to give any nation foreign aid money. Since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1989 almost all foreign aid hasn’t been required. When you get right down to the brass tacks foreign aid since the establishment of the Iron Curtain was a form of bribery - if we give you this much money will you vote with us in the UN?

If (when?) American Foreign Aid stops what is Mexico going to do? Is there any written and signed treaty requiring us to subsidize the Mexican government? The most probable result is most of the members of their single political party end up facing revolutionary justice (just like the 1910s).

Your, IMO, incorrect. Your making the incorrect assumption that this will not be a mechanized project. The people and equipment used will be much more efficient than laying brick and mortar. Cabs will be air conditioned, much of the wall construction will be offsite and heavy equipment will lay the foundations as well as all drilling, concrete fill, tamping and finish work. What would have taken months to complete, will take days. The costs will be substantially less. As an example:
http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/palestinians-walk-past-israels-security-wall-under-news-photo/50806383

Of course there are many options, and variations on a theme, here is another example:

https://poundfield.com/construction-concrete-products/concrete-security-walls/

Suffice to say, many peoples perception of a long sustained arduous task will be significantly different from the reality, in which heavy equipment, and precast technology will both speed the process, and improve costs and efficiency.

Additionally, it should not be presumed that this will be a single wall, rather a multiple wall approach, where conquering one wall will be insufficient for access, rather one of several obstacles, all of which will be intended to prevent success, and all can be done simultaneously during construction phases.

As I am sure your aware.
