I've noticed that the eligibility challenges no longer make much appearance in the press. One would think that a case appearing before a state Supreme Court would be a big deal, but only one or two small local papers published notice of the fact before the decision was handed down.

My informal list shows challenges in 15 different states, I'm sure there are more. Some of the cases originally filed in federal courts are still pending.

Knowledge by the people would kick sCruz to the curb before he has accomplished the GOPee deed. Otoh it must be proper timing to get it settled just as O is about to leave office.
