Still Report #818 - Cruz Quickly Backstabs Kasich Over Treaty
`Youtube ^ | 4-25-16 | Bill Still

Short video: 1:49 about "secret" Cruz memo that shows Lyin' Ted stabbling Kasich in the back. Transcript:

The Ted Cruz – John Kasich alliance announced with great fanfare on Sunday quickly broke down when a Cruz insider leaked a confidential memo telling Cruzbots to ignore the warning not to vote for Cruz in the Oregon primary to be held on May 17 and the New Mexico primary held on the last day of the primary season, June 7th. Cruz & Kasich announced that Kasich would stop spending money in Indiana if Cruz would stop spending money in Oregon and New Mexico in a hopeless attempt to stop the Donald. But, in a letter addressed specifically to freshman Congressman Mike Nearman of Oregon, Cruz justified his double-cross of Kasich thusly: [insert letter] “… sometimes in order to win the end game, we must be the better strategic players….” “… in Oregon and New Mexico, please continue voting for a Ted Cruz win in those states. Do not select John Kasich as has been reported since Sunday evening.” “Please be cautious and only forward this email to our known Ted Cruz supporters via email.” Typically inepTed. If he had any common sense, he would have at least waited until he had gotten his side of the bargain before he tipped off anyone – even Congressmen – of his real intentions. I wonder, 4 years from now, will I have to consult Wikipedia to remember this guy’s name? I’m still reporting from Washington. Good Day.

Sounds like Cruz suffers from premature double-cross.

It’s not like Kasich can say Trump didn’t warn everybody many many times.

Maybe Cruz’s big speech at four today is to announce that he is ending his recent bromance with Kasick.

“Oh shut up, silly Kasich,” said the Cruz with a grin”

“You knew damn well I was a snake before you made a deal with me”

Cruz can't even conduct a proper collusion

He seems to lack logical, analytical skills or an ability to integrate data with his decision making. A secret memo to all his supporters? How could he EVER assume that a vast number of supporters when abandoned wouldn't go to their second choice Trump. Cruz betrayed them.

Oregon and New Mexico are proportional representation states. Indiana a winner-takes-all state.

To people who know the rules, the announcement by Kasich that he was focusing his attention on Oregon and New Mexico, makes sense given that Cruz is (or was) within several points of Trump in Indiana.

But, the good news for Trumpeters is that, should Cruz pull off an upset in Indiana (which I consider a long-shot), they will have a ready-made excuse.

Here’s my recommendation: pretend that this is a golf course and par is 50 percent.

Don’t bother Kasich, he’s still chomping down on his ‘all you can eat’ buffet.

Cruz reeks of sleaze

Cruz IS the very definition of sleaze.

A mailing came today, it says from Cruz for President, and he's identified as having sent the letter.

The front of the envelope in large, bold, red letters says:

Together we can BEAT DONALD TRUMP. Inside, the heading says:

---------

LAST CHANCE TO "DUMP TRUMP"

Avoid a GOP disaster...

Stand up for your values...

Donate today!

----------

The letter itself is filled with delusional lies saying Trump will suffer a disasterous defeat for himself and the Republican Party.

WHAT IS CRUZ'S PROBLEM?? This is right out of the the Romney playbook that the nomination is the prize.

Shouldn't the goal be to beat hillary? This is one sick dude. One can't help but wonder if he's a threat to himself, and others.

JMHO

At this point, I’m thinking Ted’s going to have problems even getting reelected to the Senate.

Last week I received a Cruz mailing here in PA. It was an officious-looking document that said, “Our records show that you have not yet made a donation to the Cruz Campaign. You can correct this error by sending your donation in the enclosed envelope.”

I can see how certain types of persons could be rattled by this approach, and scared into sending a donation.

I don’t mind saying it pi**ed me off, and I forthwith threw it in the trash.

I’m sorry I ever had Cruz as my second choice or a possible VP for Trump.

I am not big on calling people out for their religious hypocrisy. At all. BUT, Ted says he’s a SOUTHERN BAPTIST (Though many say he’s a “DOMINIONIST”, which his father---who has called Ted “The Anointed One”---claims to be; or even a Mormon, as he stood by while Glenn Beck recited Mormon-specific references, applying them to Cruz, That Cruz is the “raising of the priests” and the fulfillment of the “prophecy of the White Horse.” Or a Seventh Day Adventist, as his wife, Heidi, who has more than once referred to Ted as “The Face Of God.”)

I am Southern Baptist, raised that way. Let me tell you, Southern Baptist are very loosey goosey when it comes to what it accepts or allows in each affiliate congregation (for example, some can dance, some cannot.) BUT….THREE THINGS are not acceptable ANYWHERE to Southern Baptists: GAMBLING, DRINKING, and NOT TITHING:

(Today, Apri 27) During Carly Fiorina’s running-mate acceptance speech in Indianapolis, Fiorina described Cruz as a really fun dude who’s able to make last-second bets on exciting basketball games.
She revisited the final moments of that epic national title game between Villanova and North Carolina. Fiorina and Cruz were watching the game on the bus, and after Marcus Paige’s incredible 3, Cruz threw money on the table. – USA TODAY

On CNN’s Republican Presidential Townhall, Republican candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) told Anderson Cooper that he drinks alcohol “What is your favorite cocktail?” Cooper asked Cruz. “I am a scotch man,” Cruz responded. – CNN [PS---scotch is not a “cocktail; it’s a distilled spirit, a member of the whiskey family.]

According to recently released tax records, the Texas senator contributed less than 1 percent of his income to charity between 2006 and 2010. But many Christians believe that the Bible commands a charitable offering, or tithe, equal to 10 percent of one’s annual earnings. – The Atlantic
