Our local talk host went further and looked at some military social media. He learned that Keating left behind a fiance to whom he was to be married in November. Her heart is broken; I can only imagine what other family and friends are feeling.

I guess it’s too long ago now, people don’t remember the Keating Five.
It was John McCain’s almost demise. Maybe in some ways the beginning of his change from a fun but basically conservative guy into something more fake, more political.
And many said Keating was attacked by the Left because he was stridently anti-Abortion in a time when most people were ambivalent about Roe v. Wade.
How incredibly sad.
Screw the damn Muslim world and their chaos and dysfunction that has brought nothing but death and sorrow to all of us and takes away our best.
