My son jas ADHD. We took him off all RX. Still a challenge....but worse on the meds. Horrible stuff.
I’ve two family members on Ritalin.
I think they’d do better w/plain ol’ coffee.
Just bring him home. Let him sleep on his schedule, bring him to the library, hike and explore the outdoors, plant a garden. Let him watch the history channel. Eat as a family. Watch funny movies. My kids were not in trouble but I understood the necessity to keep them with the family and not turn them over to the system.
