Lena Dunham has launched a scathing attack on Donald Trump, calling the Republican Presidential candidate a "hell hound".
The Girls creator and star, who has publicly supported Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton since the start of her campaign, has been critical of the billionaire since he launched his bid for the White House.
And at TheWrap's Power Women Breakfast in New York on Thursday (09Jun16), the actress did not hold back when talking about Trump. Calling him a "maniacal, misogynist, racist, Islamophobic, ableist, transphobic hell hound", she went on to reveal she frequently laughs at the controversial politician.
"I think we all have to get used to it, we talk about it in a serious way, which is hard. I didn't think we'd be having a real serious conversation about Donald Trump. I still laugh when I see him on TV. It's not funny, it just makes me laugh," Lena explained.
The Golden Globe winning actress also confessed she was very emotional when Clinton made history earlier this week (beg06Jun16) by becoming the first-ever female presidential nominee of a major political party in the U.S.
Adding that she was "really moved", Lena stressed of the November elections, "It's a very urgent election coming up."
Earlier this year (16), Lena sparred with Trump on Twitter, after she claimed she would leave the country if he was elected President. "I know a lovely place in Vancouver and I can get my work done from there," she said in an interview at the time.
Trump later hit back at the star while on Fox News, calling her a "B actor" with "no mojo" and said it would be a "great service" to the U.S. if she left the country.
"I heard Whoopi Goldberg said that too," he added. "That would be a great, great thing for our country. We'll get rid of Rosie (O'Donnell) - oh I love it. Now I have to get elected, because I'll be doing a great service to our country.
"Now it's much more important. In fact, I'll immediately get off this call and start campaigning."
Aging has some hidden benefits; I haven’t a clue who Lena Dunham is or what she does. Sweet serendipity...

I see, so it is silly to see exactly what you meant. I assume you do not like Trump then, since I gave you a chance to clarify and you refused to do so then I am left with that impression.
My best memories were of my first days after boot camp serving with mainly older WWII Marines, most of them Staff NCOs, though there were were double/tripled hashmarked corporals and buck sergeants among them.
And, a few even older China Marines, POWs, Nicaragua, etc.
Many of the corporals and sergeants,only slightly older than myself at 17, were veterans of the Inchon landing and frozen Chosin!
I am honored to have served with them and cherish my memories of those now long ago days.

Good man Jim. Now I know where you stand. I can't believe some out there are still uncommitted. Most of us still voted for McCain and Romney even though neither were who we thought the country needed.
I was trying to say, Robert, that Donald Trump is indeed Lena Dunham’s worst nightmare and that’s what I’m looking for.
I joined the Trump effort in December when it became clear to me that he was the candidate most likely to leave Hillary Clinton’s battered, broken, bloodied political body in a ditch by the side of the road.
I have many strained and trashed friendships this cycle. Two people I worked for politically now support Hillary. They still call themselves Republicans but they will never see my assistance again.
