Great little rifles! I have owned an original Armalite AR-7 since June 1969 when I bought it from the MCAS el Toro PX the day I was discharged from the Corps.

Have fired well over 10,000 rounds through that puppy and has been accurate, dependable, and rugged. I would carry it assembled using a boot lace as a sling and filled the butt wells with fishing gear, a compass and 50 rounds of ammo. Perfect!

Plus... a BIG plus... is that you can’t drop it to the bottom of a lake - IT FLOATS!

I have been in that PX. It was a nice PX. All that is gone now, which is sad.
